GA Sealy’s Workshop or Author Visit

Description of Presentation

Grades Pre K-12 (30 -45 minutes)

G.A. will customize his presentation based on the age group. He begins his presentation with an overview of what it takes to publish a book. For grades Pre K- 3 he will read one of his books. A discussion of the book will be facilitated by G.A. using the Student guide (available for purchase) that accompanies his books to engage students. If he is conducting a STREAM workshop, he will read from one of his books from his Young Scientist Series. He will then facilitate an interactive Explore Even More learning activity with students. Based on concepts taught in his books these activities encourage exploratory and experiential learning.

For older grades 4 -12 he will conduct his workshop on Authorship & Publishing walking students through the steps involved in publishing their books.

Time permitting and if appropriate, the session will end with a Q & A.
